MY WHY

What I care about most are the real things. Early morning yoga, swimming in the ocean, staying up late under the stars, and hiking with friends. I love sharing stories around a campfire, sitting in silence and stillness, gut-busting laughter, just being. This is the type of stuff I want to capture, because this is real. This is what love and life really looks like. It’s not posed, it’s not like the movies. It’s so much better than that. 

Thanks for popping by legends! I’m just an average guy with above average stories. I’ve been lucky enough to visit 46 countries and photograph over 600 weddings. When I’m not behind the camera you’ll find me groovin’ on a dance floor but my real passion is in creating spaces for adults to reignite their childhood wonder. I’m the creative director for a music festival and you’ll often find me sketching outrageous ideas.

I’ve been a photographer for 12 years, ever since I found my first camera in a lost property basket. I was going to be an engineer but the universe had other plans for me. I’ve spent most of my life traveling the globe capturing the worlds best events. I’ve worked with couples in Australia, Mexico, New York, Austria, England, Fiji, and Italy. I’ve photographed yacht week in Croatia, festivals in Europe and I gift wedding photography to a few lucky couples at Burning Man each year.

I currently live in Mudgee NSW but I’m moving to Nelson BC! I’m craving some time in the mountains and I’m itching to get back on the slopes. I’ll be working in both locations during the transition.
