I think it’s time you met my right hand man Jackson.
Highly driven, overly talkative and a passionate creative, this legend has been a part of the team for three years now. Originally coming on as an editor and studio manager he quickly discovered a personal passion for Filmmaking and Photography and I’ve been cheering him on ever since.
Jackson is into his second year shooting weddings solo and I couldn’t be more proud to have him as a part of the team still, moving into 2020 he will be taking on a larger role and more bookings here at Feather and Birch and I am absolutely amped to see where this journey takes us.
Three years ago I stumbled across a tired and overworked Matty Teague in the middle of the Mudgee wedding season, he asked me on the spot if I could help him and I didn’t hesitate to say yes, something about his joyful energy and the line “You can edit weddings from a beach in California” really sold me ;)
One year in and I soon found that I was aching for a creative outlet of my own, I wanted to capture my own moments. In true Matt Teague style he said yes and started teaching me the ins and outs of the camera, how a wedding day worked and the dos and don’ts of being a photographer & videographer.
The Journey so far has been the most rewarding of my life and I’m so so so excited to keep the ball rolling into 2020
