Today was a day for new records, with 80mm of rain falling in 24 hours this will go down as the wettest wedding I've ever photographed. The girls had a power cut in the morning which meant a quick change of venue for hair and makeup. The boys were busy moving the outdoor ceremony to a marquee while the bus filled with guests nearly got stuck on the driveway, but kudos to these two cuties who put on a brave face, took off their shoes and went for an adventure through the mud. Here's to a wedding I'll never forget, congratulations to Australias newest married couple; Annemarie & James.
The flowers were in full bloom for Ash & Clay, as it set the tone for what would be a truly stellar day of love, laughs and gorgeous locations in the moody valleys of Lithgow.
The pair decided to style their own wedding reception and absolutely nailed it. Backyard venues don't get much better than this!
Golden weather and a collection of bubbly personalities made our first wedding at Blue Wren, a great experience. The day was filled with laughter and excitement, with Monica surprising James for a beautiful first look before their ceremony. James' ear to ear smile never left his face as I'm sure he couldn't wait to begin spending the rest of his days by Monica's side.
Heavy clouds and early morning rain had everyone worried, with constant echoes of "I think it'll pass". However, these two adorable humans weren't going to let a bit of grey cloud get them down.
The weather held out for a beautiful ceremony, followed by one of the peachiest sunsets of the season where I found myself in awe at just how perfect Elle & James are together.
